Piper was raised as a puppy by Frank Price. He did her basics and early training. Piper first caught my eye when she made it to the last series of an Open just 2 months out of the Derby. Little did I know then that Brian Freeland would become a co-owner and put her in training with me. Thank you Brian, for believing in me and for your loyalty.

Thank you Steve Bechtel for sharing your beautiful ranch for pre-national training. What an enjoyable group we had with Bill and Sara Totten, Al Wilson, Marv Baumer, Larry and Anna Calvert, Roy and Christie Gonzales, and Kevin Rice. Special thanks to my wife Becky, our kids Shaelee and Wylie for being my biggest fans.

Shaelee, Mark and Becky's daughter, passed her first Jr. Handler leg. She is running FC Cosmo's Cookie Cutter. Cutter is owned by Starkey Smith. Way to go Shaelee!

Nov. 2-4 2007

	AFC Windigos Kalamity Kate earned her FC title with an Open win at the Metro Alliance Retriever Club Nov 4th 2007. Kate is owned by Marv (R) and Pat Baumer and handled by Mark Edwards.
Take Me Know of Lose Me Forever won the derby at the Metro Alliance Retriever Club trial Nov 2-4th. Riggs has won five of the last six derbies consisting of Cimarron, Lone Star, North Texas and South Central. Riggs is shown his proud owner Jim Schmidt (R) and trainer/handler Mark Edwards

Cosmo's Cookie Cutter earned her FC title and qualified her for the 2007 National by winning the inaugural South Central Retriever Association trial Oct 26-28th. Cutter is owned by Starkey Smith and trained and handled by Mark Edwards.

Sept. 16 2007 - Jayhawk RC, Kansas

Woody Creek's Poetic Justice earned her FC and Qualified for the 2007 National when she won the open at the Jayhawk Retriever Club, September 12-16th. "Diva" is shown with her proud owner Jimmy Banks (L) and trainer/handler Mark Edwards.

In the Derby Mark also placed 3rd with Riggs, owned by Jim Schmitt, and 4th with Ruger, Marion Stroud.
